Throughout our journey we’ll ski as many mind-blowing lines as possible, finishing each day by skiing right back to the ocean. We’ll use a 50 ft Catamaran as a floating base camp. Each day we’ll wake up in a new location with new mountains to climb and ski. The remote mountains of the Kamchatka Peninsula have hundreds of incredible ski possibilities. Many are virgin descents, providing an excellent opportunity for adventurous ski tourers. Summits range from 500 meters to 2000 meters and feature glaciated active volcanoes.
Our daily ascents will range from 1000 to 2000 m. The terrain is highly varied from wide open bowls to steep couloirs and winding gullies, you’ll find it all in Kamchatka. Your certified guide will ensure you find the best snow and ski lines. While the experienced captain and crew will ensure a safe journey through one of the most remote areas in the world. The yacht is warm and comfortable, it can house up to 12 guests plus 3 crew.
A catamaran provides a stable way to travel while in open ocean and the shallow draft allows unique access to the rugged shoreline. The crew will cook up delicious Russian meals. These are the perfect high carb fuel for long ski tours. Wildlife is abundant along the journey. We hope to see various species of whales as well as the resident sea lions. Kayaks are also available on board. This provides a great side activity when the legs are sore or the mountains are socked in.
