Matt loves exploring. Finding out what’s around the next corner or at the top of the next mountain has taken Matt to some of the most remote places on the planet.
He has been organizing and conducting custom adventures, for guests from around the world, for over a decade. During this time he has led expeditions to Antarctica, Fiji, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Alaska, and Canada. Matt has a genuine passion for adventure, a wicked sense of humour and a love of life. It is his energy, enthusiasm and the experiences that he provides that keeps guests returning time and again.
Matt is certified through the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of British Columbia and as a Surf Instructor. When not on expedition he also works as a Heli skiing guide with Last Frontier Heli Skiing. And teaches the Surf and Sea Kayaking guiding courses for Thompson Rivers University’s Adventure Programs.
Angela Bueckert has been guiding water-based expeditions for over ten years worldwide.
Angela currently works for Thompson Rivers University in the Adventure Guide Program as a sea kayak and white water kayak instructor. Angela is a member of the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of British Columbia as a Level 4 guide. And has worked throughout the B.C. coast from day trips to extended and challenging expeditions. Angela is also a Level 3 white water kayak instructor with Canoe Kayak British Columbia.
White water kayak work has taken Angela to locations such as Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Ecuador and Mexico. Angela is passionate about the water environment, sharing her love of the outdoors and skill development with guests of all skill levels and abilities.
